Privacy policy
The short version. Your chats with Clement are yours. Nobody at your company can read them, not even admins. Clement staff may open data only to support and secure the service, and every access is logged. We don't sell your data or use it for ads. To see or delete your data, email hello@clement.live.
Who we are
Clement is an AI coach that companies give to their employees. "We" means Human Standard Inc. Questions about this policy go to hello@clement.live.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, work email and company, so you can sign in.
- Your assessment: your answers to Clement's proprietary assessment, and the work-style profile made from them.
- Your chats: what you write to Clement, and what it writes back.
- Basic technical data: sign-in times and error logs, to keep the service running and secure.
- On this website: if you book a demo, Calendly collects your name, email and the time you pick.
- Visits to this website: We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It uses cookies and records your browser, device, rough location and the pages you visit. Google handles this data for us.
Why we use it
- To coach you. Clement reads your profile and your chat to answer you.
- To explain your teammates. When you ask about a teammate, Clement uses their work-style profile, and when a teammate asks about you, it uses yours. It never shows anyone your chats.
- To set up your company's account and to help when something goes wrong.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- You can see your own chats.
- People at your company cannot read your chats. That includes your manager, the People team and admins. Clement never reports what you say to your company.
- Clement staff may open data only to support and secure the service. Every such access is logged.
- Service providers that run Clement for us, only for that job: Anthropic, the maker of the AI model, processes chat messages to write Clement's replies, and its terms do not allow it to train its models on them. DigitalOcean stores our data, encrypted. Clerk handles sign-in. Calendly handles demo bookings on this website.
How we protect it
- Everything is encrypted on the way to us and while stored.
- Each company's data sits in its own separate store, with its own key.
How long we keep it
- We keep your data while your company uses Clement.
- If your company removes you from its team, your chats are deleted.
- If your company stops using Clement, we delete its data within 30 days.
Your choices
Email hello@clement.live to get a copy of your data, fix it, or delete it. We will confirm by email when it's done.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
